Why are u applying to Revenant:

With Cataclysm imminent I feel it’s time I find a dedicated progression guild, I am a very loyal member and so when I get accepted into guilds I tend to stay with them to the bitter end. Revenant really fits the bill for me in terms of progression and community. I know some of the members from a previous guild and so I predict the guild community will be similar.


Is there anyone in Revenant who can vouch for you:

I’ve played alongside Melra for almost 2 years in Age of Conan and Aion in a guild called Afternoon Delight. I think I recall Maximillian from AD joined Revenant with Melra also? Although I’m not sure.

Previous guild. Why did u leave/ got kicked:

I joined WoW shortly after the release of TBC and decided on rolling a Prot Warrior as the idea of tanking really appealed to me. Me and a friend joined the guild The Eleventh Hour on Nordrassil. I believe the guild still stands although more as a social gathering now than a serious raiding guild. With The Eleventh Hour I cleared up to 5/9 in Black Temple before following several members to this new game Age of Conan. In AoC I was part of the guild Afternoon Delight along with Melra and Maximillian. In AoC we dominated the server clearing all content PvE and PvP-wise and was a lot of fun.

AoC soon got boring though after months of nothing from the developers and so I decided to return to WoW for a while until the release of Aion. While back with The Eleventh Hour in WoW I levelled up to 80 and cleared Naxx/OS/Maly etc. However upon Ulduar’s release and Aion growing closer I started to miss Afternoon Delight and so joined them into Aion. After spending about 2 months or so in Aion, me and a few members from the guild decided again to return to WoW once and for all.

As we were all on different servers we all got new accounts and RAFed our way up with this new reroll guild, Placeholder. I originally rolled a Priest (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormreaver&cn=Rubberlover) but soon changed to DK and am loving it.

With Placeholder I achieved all my ICC experience, and even though it might not seem enough to compete in 25-man Heroics, I personally believe that I am more than capable of delivering the necessary skill and dedication it requires. Things soon turned sour for Placeholder though, as I was worried it might, due to it being a reroll guild. I did make some good friends from the guild, but there were very few “dedicated raiders” in the guild and signups soon dwindled.


What raiding experience you have:

TBC – I originally played a Prot Warrior on the server Nordrassil throughout TBC.

Kara – Clear
SSC – Clear
TK – Clear
BT – 5/9

Naxx 10/25 – Clear
Maly 10/25 – Clear
OS 10/25 – Clear
Ulduar – None as this was when I returned to Afternoon Delight in Aion. Although have done the first wing since on the DK.

ToC 10(H)/25 – Clear
ICC 10 – 10/12 (Lootship Heroic ) – Was working on Lich King when the guild folded.
ICC 25 – 10/12


What kind of PC and connection do you have:

If anyone has played AoC you would know how much it requires from your PC to run at all smoothly. My PC runs WoW fine and I can’t remember the last time I got a DC. My connection is decent.


We raid 3 times a week; tuesdays, thursdays and sundays and we require people to atleast raid these days. Can you raid these days?:

Yes definitely, I play most nights so I don’t see a problem in keeping full attendance for those days. Obviously if anything serious comes up, I would let the appropriate people know in plenty of time .


Do you speak and understand english since this is the langauge spoken during raid?

Yeah I’m English, so aslong as I haven’t been drinking that won’t be a problem.


Can you handle critisism and do you use this to improve your general performance?

I sure can, if I was doing something wrong or can improve my character in anyway I prefer to be told directly. Also, if I make a mistake during a fight I much rather people bringing it up with me, otherwise how would we progress. Although I do try and make sure this doesn’t happen.


Tell us something about yourself:

I like to get involved in my guilds as much as possible, both in and out of the game. When Afternoon Delight went to Aion I created and ran the guild site and the same for Placeholder. I also made the kill videos for Placeholder, which was a fun pastime.

Myself, I think I’m a very social person. I like to get involved in the guild community as it definitely makes the raiding environment a lot more successful if everyone gets on well with everyone.

Max dident get far in wow he gave up at lvl 60 and went back to AoC, Xato also joined for a short time and left,

Heya m8 thanks for the nice detailed apply, seems you put some effort into which is rare these days, and a friend of miss melra is also a bonus, and ye hes sexy voice i call him mr barry white.
The only problem i could see is actually getting you raiding alot. We have 4 dks atm and genrally around 28-30 sign ups, now theres some socials there, but we have quite a full roster.
How do you feel about maybe having to sit out on some raids?

I played a Demonologist and Bear Shaman in AoC, which was a shame because they were Sooooo underpowered

I would'nt have a problem with that Zintha, i'm looking long term anyway into Cataclysm. And to go from not raiding at all to any kind of raiding would be a big plus for me.
