Rexion - Dk - Unholy DPS - Blood Tank

Hey, here my application to the guild

MS: Unholy DPS - OS: Blood Tank
Unholy is great in during fights, so no burst, but good sustained DPS.
I tried Frost DPS but i think my ebon plague has more benefits for the casters and at the end, provides more DPS
Im willing to change to Frost of thats better for the raid.

The only doubt there is in my gear i think is Herklum War Token.
As in my spec melee is very important in my dmg, i think the haste that trinket offers me is very welcome to maximize my dps.
My enchants are the ones i think r best. But enchants r very straight forward so.

I took my glyphs to maximize my DPS on single target.
1ste glyph: A very nice DoT made even better! Great for single and multi target.
2nd glyph: Diseases r very important as unholy so keeping it up also. Because glyph of the diseases blocks my rotation with pestilience, i took this one.
3rd glyph: Unholy = pet, better pet = more dmg.

My tanking gear is at 5.2k GS *just to give you guys some insight

Professions:
450 JC: Best option for better DPS
450 Alchemy: Also one of the best options for better DPS, londer flask duration

Why are u applying to Revenant:
Im in search of a good guild.
First of all, you can't raid without one and I surely want to meet more End game raid content then i did till now.
As second, a filling green guild chat on my screen. Without is, WoW can sometimes be boring and lonely.
As third, I think I have something to offer. At one hand a good DPS with some brains in my head. On the other hand
a friendly and helpfull person with some dedication to the game and the people around him.

What raiding experience you have:
I never raided during Vanilla or TBC. Only in Wotlk.
I did Naxx 10, Ulduar 10, EoE 10/25, TOC 10/25, TogC 10, ICC 10/25. My progression on ICC 10 is 11/12. I know the tacts very well and understand them. ICC 25 progression is 9/12.

What kind of PC and connection do you have:
Im not a real computer wizz;
But I can tell you my pc is very new, so I can run WoW and alot of other stuff without any problems.
Besides that, ive almost never any connection problems.

We raid 3 times a week; tuesdays, thursdays and sundays and we require people to atleast raid these days. Can you raid these days?:
Ofcourse.
But as you know, RL aslo excist.
If I sign up for something I will be there and if I can't due any kind of reason, I will let you know.
I try to maximize my attendance and often that will happen.

Do you speak and understand english since this is the langauge spoken during raid?
Yes, I understand english very good and i speak it also good.
Besides that ive got my mothertongue: Dutch
Some knowledge of French, German and Spanish also.

Can you handle critisism and do you use this to improve your general performance?
Ofcourse! The point is, if the made sugestion gives me more in wathever there is and makes me better, I will be glad to have that extra for myself and for the others around me!

Owell let's put in a small reply, as you seem to have put some effort into your apply.

Your gear has to be frowned upon, well at least the tank gear I saw, especially since you should know we're doing ICC 25 hc (only 3 bosses left)

Second, I'm not the DK expert (I'll leave that for our legendary Yawg) but I'm pretty sure there has to be better glyphs and some different talents you could use.

ps. Alchemy also enhances the stats of your flasks/elixirs

I liked the effort u put in your apply, for me it counts a lot, so i'll give u a longer reply since i believe u deserve it.

Atm your armory shows your tank gear, its way below our requirements, remember we are doing icc 25 hc and u miss a few enchants as well(it may be armory bug since u miss a lot of them).

In terms of specs, tanking one you have is good, there are a few options of glyphs and talents but you got the critical ones which is the most important. About your dps spec, i havent seen your gear so i cant give u an accurate answer about it, check http://elitistjerks.com/f72/t72364-unholy_dps_3_3_5_only_exception/, you can see there the best spec according to your gear. Glyph of dark death gives more dps than glyph of scourge strike.

Your application overall is good and i personally liked it, but atm we have 4 active dks and we can only consider exceptional applications, which yours fails because of gear.
