Pagani - Fire Mage Empty
PostSubject: Pagani - Fire Mage   Pagani - Fire Mage EmptySun Sep 26, 2010 7:46 pm

Name: Pagani

Class: Mage

Spec:

Armoury link:

Professions: Jewelcrafting 450/450 and Enchanting 450/450

Why are u applying to Revenant:

First of all, I've got the feeling that Revenant is a serious guild and also a very friendly guild. Also, I have heard, from friends in game, that Revenant is a great guild, with alot of friendly players in it, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Is there anyone in Revenant who can vouch for you: Have been playing a few raids with Hrco, Gal, Realign and some other guildies. But I do not know anyone in Revenant good enough to "vouch" for me I believe.

Previous guild. Why did u leave/ got kicked:

I am in DEFECT atm, and there are some seriously nice people in there, but lately there has been bad attendance and bad progress forward. Therefore I decided to open my eyes and look for other options. And of course one of the major difficulties being in DEFECT is that we do not raid 25 mans, meaning one has to pug 25 man raids every week. Before DEFECT I've been for a short while in Restless, where I raided for a few weeks, but due to the random rage among the leaders, I choose to leave them.

What raiding experience you have:

I am a fairly new in World of Warcraft. I started to play serious when Wotlk were released, aka I do not have any vanilla/TBC experience. In Wotlk I've downed: Naxx 10 15/15, Naxx 25 15/15 ToC 10 5/5, ToGC 10 5/5 (Insanity), ToC 25 5/5, VoA 10 / VoA 25 Cleared, Ulduar 10 Hardmodes 9/13, Ulduar 25 Hardmodes 5/13, ICC 10 12/12, ICC 10 Hardmodes 10/12 (Sindra to 5% and also a few good tries on Lich King HC), ICC 25 11/12, ICC 25 HC 2/12.

What kind of PC and connection do you have:

My connection is very good, I rarely disconnects, usually happens not even once a week when I'm gaming. My computer is not top notch but it's enough to raid with. I've got around 15-30 FPS in ICC, it could be better yes and I am planning of buying a new computer in the near future. But I've raided hardcore with it without any problems so there's no point of being concerned.

We raid 3 times a week; tuesdays, thursdays and sundays and we require people to atleast raid these days. Can you raid these days?:

Yes I can, the time of your raid is perfect in my opinion, due to the later start, which fits my schedule very well. There will be no problem at all to attend all those days for me.

Do you speak and understand english since this is the langauge spoken during raid?

Yes, I speak and understand quite advanced english so yes I do.

Can you handle critisism and do you use this to improve your general performance?

Yes, I believe critisism is a perfect way to improve your gaming, as I usually see critisism as a good thing, I shall always learn from my mistakes and through those become a better player.

Tell us something about yourself: I am 19 years old and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I'm studying daytime but this will not, in any way, delay my time at the computer. I am a mature and skilled player who likes to do progress with a bunch of people I like. I believe the raiding with this guild will fit me perfectly, and I also think this would be the perfect way of getting into a great guild to raid with in Cataclysm, aswell as the last few weeks before the expansion will be released. I will come prepared to raids, always have a hell lot of potions/flasks and feasts on me when raiding. If you seek a player who you want to perform max at any time, aswell as a mature player to rely on, I am your player Smile

I hope this guide gave you a little more knowledge of who I am and what I enjoy doing. Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Best regards,

Pagani

Other than some weird gemming, seems good. Why do you even use spell+spi gems? You are a jewelcrafter.

Well opinions is fine, but when its spotable that ull grant spellpower if you gem pure spell on places Pagani chose to gem with spell+spi.

Also: zomg spi gives crit, imba! hurr.

Well thanks for all the response Smile

The reason to why I gem a few more SP/Spi than needed is simply because I use the socket bonuses, which will gain me more in the long term than to aim not for them. But if you got better suggestions I'm up for trying hem, I'm flexible when it comes to gemming, and yeah you might be true, but the diff with socket bonuses/some +-10 haste etc ain't giving me too much differ, tried it out.

And I hope to hear from you guys soon Wink!

Regards.

One example being the gem on your gloves. 12sp+10spi+5sp = 17sp and 10spi, vs a 23sp gem. Unless you really really lack crit (you shouldnt spec fire if you do, and watching ur armory ur crit is ok), the 6sp gained is better than 10spi. Altho, this is little things.
